Composition:
The active ingredient – fipronil – is used to prevent and eliminate infestations caused by fleas, ticks, and lice in dogs and cats at all life stages.
Fipronil blocks the nervous system of ectoparasites, causing paralysis and death.
It is not absorbed into the animal’s bloodstream and does not affect its nervous system.
The protective effect lasts for 1.5–2 months.
Packaging – polymer pipettes allow for accurate dosage selection.
Transparent oily liquid with a characteristic odor of the components.
Fipronil – 80 mg
Excipients: propylene glycol, glycerin, isopropyl alcohol
Ectoparasiticides, insecticides, and repellents.
Fipronil, a phenylpyrazole derivative, affects the nervous system of parasites without impacting the host animal.
Its mechanism of action is based on blocking the transmission of chloride ions in GABA-dependent channels, disrupting the nervous system and causing overexcitation and death in parasites.
Fipronil acts via contact and is minimally absorbed through the skin.
Within 24 hours after application, it distributes evenly over the skin, accumulates in the epidermis, sebaceous glands, and hair follicles, and is slowly released, providing long-lasting protection through a “reservoir effect.”
Used for the prevention and treatment of infestations caused by:
Fleas (Ctenocephalus spp.)
Ticks (Dermacentor spp., Rhipicephalus spp., Ixodes spp.)
Lice (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus)
Also effective against ear mites (Otodectosis).
Apply externally, directly to the skin in areas not accessible for licking:
Dogs: between the shoulder blades and along the spine
Cats: at the nape of the neck
Dosage:
Puppies and kittens – 0.5 ml
Cats – 1 ml
Dogs:
2–10 kg – 1 ml
10–20 kg – 2 ml
20–40 kg – 3 ml
Over 40 kg – 4 ml
Apply once. The preventive effect lasts 1.5–2 months. Reapplication is possible if necessary.
In case of ear mites (otodectosis):
Instill 2–3 drops into the ear canal. Repeat the treatment 2–3 times at 8–10 day intervals.
Do not use in animals allergic to fipronil or any excipients.
Not recommended for:
Kittens under 12 weeks
Puppies under 10 weeks
Use with other insectoacaricides
